
USTMAAA is the University of Santo Tomas Medical Alumni Association in America. The Association was established and organized in 1993 exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes.
It aims to:
1. Promote the art and science of medicine
2. Evaluate the standards of medical education, research and practice in
America, the Philippines and the world over.
3. Make distributions to organizations that qualify for exemptions under
Section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, or the
corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue
Law.
4. Unite all graduates of the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of
Medicine and Surgery.
5. Work in harmony with and in collaboration with the University of
Santo Tomas Medical Alumni Association in the Philippines and other
medical associations having similar purposes.
6. Serve as the facilitator and coordinator between the different UST
medical alumni chapters in the U.S. and the University of Santo Tomas
School of Medicine either through the Dean of the College of Medicine
or the Rector Magnificus of the University.
