Envisioned to be a haven for alumni at the heart of the University campus, the Alumni Center shall feature several facilities and amenities that will help achieve the worthwhile goals of the various alumni groups. This structure shall facilitate diverse activities, from rekindling old ties to getting together for fostering solidarity among alumni. It will be a venue to consolidate our projects and will even give a clearly Thomasian stamp on all alumni advocacies, like legal and medical assistance, housing projects, community building, scholarships, and faculty development. Equipped with top of the line computer facilities, the Alumni Center shall be the main hub to enhance networking and communication.
The University’s Quadricentennial year in 2011 deserves to be shared and celebrated by all those, especially the alumni, who hold her in such high esteem. Supporting the Thomasian Alumni Center is an immensely remarkable way of being grateful for God’s unending grace to the University of Santo Tomas, our alma mater. Let the name of our University resound in every endeavor we undertake. Let us be torches that inflame our fellow Thomasians to pursue greatness – greatness in purpose, greatness in achievement – for self, for our country, for our alma mater, for God.
